About Me

My Background

I was born and raised in a small town near Toronto in Ontario. After completing my university degree, I moved to Montreal and started a brief 6-month career in cosmetic research then quickly decided I prefer the healthcare field. and so began my transition into clinical research.

I am currently a clinical research coordinator working with the Mcgill University Health Centre in Quebec, on lung oncology clinical trials. I am still relatively new to the clinical research field, as I have only been working in my current position for one year. Although I may be new to clinical research I have over 5 years of experience in healthcare. I have worked in a private clinic in the past and have volunteered in various units in the hospital. My experience also includes cosmetic research, customer service and food services.

Outside of my work experience I have a wide range of volunteer experience. as mentioned above I volunteered at my local hospital in various units, and I currently volunteer at my local mosque as an event coordinator and female youth group administrator. My volunteer experience has provided me with many useful skills that are transferable to my professional work, such as project management, event and team coordinating and has provided me with many useful leadership skills.
